Weekend Gate Fee

**Your wristband must be worn at ALL times and they WILL be checked upon entry into all gates.

DuQuoin Illinois State Fairgrounds requires this fee.

**Anyone showing up after hours must contact 618-571-0348 with your RV/trailer plate # and your name. This will ensure you are not double charged for camping by Fairgrounds security. You WILL still be charged a camping fee when gates open the following morning.

 

** Pre- registration is available for your convenience. You must check-in at the track  by 8am to verify you have been entered correctly and to receive your practice band/sticker.

** If you choose to register at the track it will be CASH ONLY. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR AMA CARD PRESENT!!

  • ·   transponder are required for registration. All riders must properly register before entering the track. ALL RIDERS WHO PRE-REGISTER MUST CHECK-IN AT REGISTRATION. Anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
  • · TRANSPONDERS: mylaps transponders are required for all racers on race day. Rental transponders are available at the event or you can supply your own Mylaps transponder.  Riders without a transponder WILL NOT BE SCORED.

INDIAN HILLS FACILITY RULES

  • Indian Hills MX is located on STATE grounds. Please be courteous and respectful of the state property. Vandalism WILL NOT be TOLERATED!
  • Quiet Time: 10 pm nightly
  • We reserve the right to remove or refuse anyone from the premises. Riders are responsible for the conduct of their crew members, family, & friends.
  • Riders are responsible for the actions of their entire pit crew, family, or friends. Anyone caught destroying or stealing property owned or maintained by Indian Hills MX or the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and will be banned from all future events. Any unnecessary trouble: arguing, verbal threats, physical contact, fighting, etc., caused by these individuals can put the rider at risk for penalties, disqualification and possibility of being banned from future events.
  • Indian Hills MX is NOT responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property of any kind during our events.
  • NO fires on the grass, all fires must be in a raised fire pit.
  • NO dumping of oil, fuel, antifreeze, or other hazardous liquids on facility grounds
  • Pets MUST be leashed at ALL times.
  • Minors MUST be accompanied by a legal guardian or have a signed Minor Waiver form
  • Riders MUST have all necessary gear for riding and follow all track rules
  • There is a 24 hour Fairgrounds security on site.
  • Be safe, responsible, and respect our rules

PIT VEHICLE RULES:

  • $25 per Pit Vehicle
  • MUST be 16 years old to operate pit vehicles
  • Pit Vehicle speed limit: 5 MPH
  • Pit Vehicle use hours: 7am-5pm DAILY
  • Helmets must be worn for anyone under the age of 18
  •  All passengers must be seated
  • Pit Vehicles are prohibited in the following areas:
  • Motocross track or anywhere inside the track fence
  •  Trails/woods
  • County roads
  • Fields/buildings/restrooms etc.
  •  Pit vehicles may not be operated in a reckless, careless, or dangerous manner.
  •  Pit vehicles may not be operated by anyone under the influence of alcohol.
  •  This privilege can be revoked or terminated for any or no reason at the discretion of Indian Hills MX  Staff or the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds Security
  • Unauthorized pit vehicles will be confiscated.
  • Violation of any of the above rules is grounds for penalty, including by not limited to confiscation of the pit vehicle, disqualification of racer, and/or ejection from facility,

    RESTRICTED AREAS: No persons or unauthorized vehicles are permitted within the boundaries of the track.  ALL PHOTOGRAPHERS OR VIDEOGRAPHERS MUST CHECK-IN AT REGISTRATION AND WEAR MEDIA VEST WHEN IN RESTRICTED AREAS

 

HOW TO QUALIFY FOR  THE MONSTER ENERGY AMA AMATEUR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AT LORETTA LYNN’S RANCH

  • · To qualify for the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch you must participate in the two-step qualifying process: the Area Qualifiers and the Regional Championships.  There are 8 regions to choose from.  The Lincoln Trail Area Qualifier is in the North Central region.
  • · Riders must first attend the Area Qualifier and finish in an advancement position (Top 9) to guarantee a spot into the Regional Championship.   Riders who qualify must attend either the North Central Youth or Amateur Regional Championship based on their class.
  • · Riders who place in an advancement position at the Area Qualifier are invited to the Regional Championship, but riders MUST pre-register with MX Sports by the deadline to keep their guaranteed spot.  Riders who do not obtain a guaranteed spot and wish to enter as an alternate must contact MX Sports.  The Regional Championship will use a unique three-moto format and riders must finish in the Top 6 to advance to the National Championship.

STARTING GATE: No tools or “farming” in front of starting gate. One mechanic per rider allowed in staging. Jumping the gate will result in an immediate one lap penalty. Report to the starting gate three races before your moto.

RACE RESULTS: Results are posted at the Registration Area shortly after each race. Check your results within 15 minutes of you moto. Do not wait until you are on the starting line for you next moto to verify results.  Live Timing is not official results.

TRACK Communication: Please keep your radio tuned to FM 88.5 or watch facebook LIVE for up-to-date announcements, rider’s meeting and important information throughout the weekend.

WRISTBANDS: WRISTBANDS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES. You will need your wristband to register, practice, race and while in the park. Please put them on and leave them on. If leaving the facility, your wristband will be required for re-entry. If lost, you will be required to purchase a new one.

GARBAGE: Please bag your garbage and place in or near the trash cans located around the premises. Please refrain from dumping gas and oil on the ground.

CAMP MEDICAL INSURANCE: We do not have Rider Medical Insurance. Riders are responsible for their own medical insurance. Rider medical insurance is available through the AMA’s RAMP Program at (800)-556-7614 or visit www.insurance4ama.com.

FIRES: FIRES MUST NOT BE DIRECTLY ON THE GROUND

GUEST CONDUCT: Motocross racing is a family sport. We will not tolerate offensive or inappropriate conduct and reserve the right to remove anyone from the premises. RIDERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF THEIR CREW MEMBERS, FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

> QUIET TIME: Quiet time is 10:00pm nightly. Generators can run all the time.

BANNERS: Do not take banner or signage. Violators will be prosecuted for theft and trespassing.

2 DUMP STATIONS are located on the grounds.

Shower Houses and Public Restrooms are available and located in multiple areas on the grounds. PLEASE RESPECT THE PREMISES AND KEEP THESE CLEAN!!

: Water fill station can be found next both dump stations or you may ask someone in an Electric/camping spot.  Do not hook up pressure washers to water fill stations.
